Kimi Ginn Rabun has more than 20 years of experience designing and presenting diversity-focused programs to families, educators, and businesses. She couples her passion with motivational –related work and life-skill enhancement, helping her clients reach full potential while promoting the importance of diversity in a changing workplace. She has developed an innovative, diversity-focused workshop series entitled “Successful Practices for the Implementation of Respect, Integrity and Teamwork” - (SPIRIT (c) 2001)- a series of diversity workshops designed to maintain hostile-free work environments in educational institutions as well as in corporations.
Kimi is the co-founder of “Rites of Passage,” an African-American culturally-based empowerment program designed for black males. She assumed the leadership role as the Sr. School Programs Officer with the College Success Foundation (CSF) and assisted in providing college-readiness skills, mentors, and scholarships to low-income, high-potential students throughout the state of Washington.
Kimi served as the Area Development Director for the northwest office of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and she was responsible for fundraising efforts behind the scholarship drive for deserving students. She opened the Joe Jordan Ragtime Jazz 600+item Historical Collection at Hampton University’s Peabody Scholar Library, and she is currently on the senior production staff for a documentary film on the origins of jazz music.
Kimi holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Multi-cultural Education from Pacific Oaks College (WA) and a BA in Elementary Education from Antioch College.
