Ira Mozille

Ira Mozille has more than 25 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator, and learning and development program designer. Most recently, Ira served as Director of Sales Training for Travelers Insurance for 10 years. In that role, he helped managing directors and account executives in the U.S. and Canada achieve outstanding results by linking learning to productivity optimization and by enabling learning transfer on the job.

Previously, Ira worked at Aetna where he trained managers and staff. He also designed and managed a professional development curriculum for non-managers. As an independent learning and development consultant, Ira has facilitated problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives for companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, healthcare, financial services and others.

Ira served as a member of the U.S. Secretary of Labor’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills. His work has been recognized with ASTD’s Excellence in Corporate Education Award and his articles have been published in several industry journals. Ira holds an MA in Training and Development/Instructional Design from Norwich University and a BA from the State University of New York at Albany.
